As
a Christian nation we are admonished to pray for those in authority; "1
Peter 2:13 & 14 Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority
instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to
governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend
those who do right."
It is a sad day in reflection
when we see that since WWII we have lost 378,017 fighting men of valor in
conflicts through 2007. That includes those lost in WWII, even more sad
is the fact, that on the streets of America, the Land of the free and the home
of the brave, we have lost 824,861 lives in cold blooded murder from 1950
through 2007 and that is not counting the abortion mill, or accidental deaths
or even those lost in 9/11.
For
years the politicians of our culture have been bashing one another for their
party’s sake like siblings trying get one up on each other.
The
result is the condition of our Nation today is in an unnecessary state of
stress on every front. The election of Barack Obama,
should reflect the achievement of one of the highest ideals of our Democracy
that all men are created equal, at least in opportunity. The fulfillment
of Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation being proved
by his election.
We must remind ourselves,
that the ebb and flow of public opinion is like the waves of the Ocean. We must
continue to lift up our government from the President on down to our local
authorities, their families and our peoples in general.
I
really believe that Americans must recognize their larger destiny in this
world. We must be a well spring of the good things of
God to this world and be ever vigilant for those forces that would oppose that
effort. The middle eastern conflict is in constant
struggle because both the Arab nations and the Jewish nations claim that their
heritage from Abraham justifies their place with God Almighty. Study of the New
and Old Testament verify that both claims are true that both Arab and Jew will
be bless of God in this world, under the old covenants.
The 6th
President of these
We must continue to pray that
God will bring our nation back to those principles which
birthed the blessings that we have received thus far, if we expect to continue
on in God’s great experiment in
NOVEMBER ELECTIONS
